Martha Hei-Yu Shu : (Set Designer/ Art Director) based in Hong Kong and Savannah. She has been learning eastern and western painting in an early age, which helps her to see art in diverse perspectives, by learning different cultures has inspired her to be an all-rounded artist. Martha believes that art is something hidden in our daily lives in different ways, little as what we wear everyday to large scale architectural design. With her observation skill and imagination, she always discovers the beauty and uniqueness of each individual space, and creates wide range of artworks, from painting and 3D modelling to stage design.
She develops more interests in set and art direction after her first live theatre experience, and was amazed by how the imaginary worlds are brought to reality while multiple atmosphere interact within one single space. This leads her to pursue a Production Design degree in Savannah College of Art and Design, to expand her creativity to this field.
